Some bathrooms are so small and the size cannot be increased without substantial cost. NH Bath Builders recently completed a small bathroom remodel where the house was about 120 years old and it would have been very costly to expand the bathroom. So we replaced the clawfoot tub with a more practical custom tile shower. Tile showers are great for small bathrooms because they can be built almost any size and shape to fit the room. We also builtĀ a “Eurolav” cabinet which has a small porcelain top about the size of a pedestal sink top but it still offers some storage space underneath. We also built and installed a “toilet topper” mounted on the wall above the toilet and a medicine cabinet that fit into the wall. The half wall on the right of the shower is to allow more light in and help the bathroom feel more open. A custom glass door was installed after this picture was taken. As always we coordinated everything from start to finish, including some replumbing and the custom glass.
